Our Class Levels and Age Ranges

Verity Ballet School classes are divided into the most appropriate skill level and age for the dancer. Here is a list of our guidelines.

Age Divisions

Preschool Division - Ages 3-5

Children's Division - Ages 6 to 9

Junior Divison - Ages 9 to 11

Teen Division - Ages 12 to 15

Senior Division - Ages 16 to 19

Adult - Ages 18 and up

These are the guidelines we use to help place dancers in the best age range, however, sometimes it is appropriate to make exceptions and place students in an age range higher or lower depending on various factors. 

Class Levels

Beginner (Level I and II, Teen level IV)- 0-2 years experience

Intermediate (Levels III through VI)- 2-4 years experience

Advanced - (Level VII+) 5 years experience and up
