Class levels at Verity are divided by skill level with recommended age guidelines. For skill level, we have Pre levels, followed by levels I through VII, with each higher level increasing in difficulty, detail, and depth.
Each level has a different color, making it easy to identify the different stages of learning and development.
Classes determine the color of leotard for girls, or shirt for boys (in addition to black and white for boys).
The color that is required is determined by the student's Ballet technique level.
Promotion/moving to a different level class will result in a change to the appropriate color uniform.
Some class will have multiple levels within the same class. Instructors will give evaluation and guidance to assist with any questions regarding uniform colors.
Dance classes are grouped by age to help determine which class is most appropriate. Within each age group, there are a wide variety of skill levels to accomodate the individual dancer's growth. Below are the recommended guidelines for each age group.
