Pointe classes develop the necessary strength and poise needed for their pointe shoes. Class begins with two hands on the barre, on two feet, and progresses to center work and across the floor. We focus on steps specific to pointe work, as well as getting comfortable being on pointe while jumping, turning, and traveling. 

Our intermediate dancers begin pointe work after training for many years, and developing sufficient technique and alignment. They will also need quite a bit of core, leg, ankle, & foot strength in order to dance on pointe safely. The goal by the time they are advanced is to be able to dance on pointe for most of their classes.
